Our two restored Javanese bungalows date from the 1950s, and evoke a past romantic era. Made entirely from teak wood and meticulously restored and modernized. During its restoration, skylights were added, along with additional windows, air conditioning and a spacious semi-open bathroom with a bathtub placed in a fish pond. The interior design follows a Scandinavian motif with white as the dominant color for the walls and ceiling that provides a light airy feeling. The one-bedroom bungalow offers a downstairs kitchen while the two-bedroom provides additional space for larger families.
The two-story bamboo treehouses use the world's most eco-material for building, while offering an uncommon level of luxury. The bedroom is on the upper floor with a six-meter vaulted ceiling that includes a king-sized bed and sofa. There's a balcony and large hammock attached that allow for unimpeded views of nearby forest and terraced rice paddies in the distance. The lower floor is semi-open with a large round sofa, dining table, and hanging rattan chair.
